The batteries themselves come with an eight year, 100,000 mile warranty, that will give you pace of mind when you're on the road. We see hybrid vehicles daily with over 200,000 miles in our service department that have batteries fully functioning. Statistics also shows that 99% of hybrids sold since 2001 still have the battery they came with.
Q: Can I recycle my hybrid battery?
A: The answer to that question is yes. Many recycling facilities are able to take care of There are battery recycling facilities that are capable of recycling certain components of the battery. In the event that a battery needs to be removed for disposal, please contact your local Toyota dealership.
Q: Can I run my hybrid vehicle on electricity only when it runs out of gas?
A: You can not drive your hybrid vehicle with no gas in the tank. Even though your vehicle from time to time shuts down its gas engine and operate in electric-only mode, it is not made to operate without gas. So don't forget to keep gas in your tank at all time.
Q: Will maintenance cost me more since I drive a hybrid?

Your maintenance might even cost you less once you're out of warranty since the wear and tear on a hybrid engine could be less than on a regular car or truck.
