Looking for a 2010 Toyota Prius with low mileage. Purchased in Oct 2013. Car found through USAA car buying service with low mileage and great pricing. Phone contact was Ashley. Upon my arrival Mr. Eddie Washington was there to greet me. He had made previous phone contact with me to give me VIP treatment. The car was outside all cleaned up and in immaculate condition. Checked the VIN and it was the wrong car. Mr. Washington went out of his way to try and find this car at the other lot. We looked and discovered the one I wanted was just sold 30 minutes prior to my arrival.Eddie suggested the vehicle we were driving in was available. We test drove it for a few errands and were gone 45 minutes. This is most unusual for a dealership and pleasantly welcomed. Upon my return and after speaking with my wife we decided the pricing was out of our budget. Mr. Washington's first class demeanor as a person and salesman won my respect. The next day he even called me and I have to say this very much impressed me. Most dealerships forget you, once a deal falls through and they never follow up to get serious to help the customer find what they are looking for. After 2 days passed Eddie called me again and said he found us a 2010 Toyota Prius..Gold, leather seats and low mileage. After discussion with my wife we decided against the leather. The next day he called with a great price and said the dealership could replace the leather seats but raise the offering price. The next day we went to see the car. The car had just been traded in and not detailed yet but he wanted us to see it. He said everything would be cleaned up and taken care of. You know how many salesman say this and don't/not very well. Eddie Washington delivered big time. The next day he even called with great news and said the Red McCombs warranty will be upgraded to a Toyota Hybrid Certified Vehicle and all four tires would be replaced. He stayed true to his word. We were ecstatic to be so blessed! During the pickup process he told me the radio was not functioning correctly and would be replaced free of charge!Go see and speak with Mr. Eddie Washington, his integrity will show and above all wants to build a relationship with his customers.Details about my sale: 1owner, CARFAX, 8.5K miles/year (purchase Jul 09 as 2010 model), below $15K, under 35K miles, Toyota Hybrid Certification included 12K/12mo comprehensive warranty, kept the leather seats, new tires, new radio and tinted windows. Not so Perfect: There is a 2"X5" long paint scrape botton front bumper and scraped painted area 2X3in on the rear bumper and the normal minor 2-3 dings/scratches but it doesn't compromise the functionality of the working parts. The justification in my mind was to say how much would it cost to have the bumpers and dings painted/removed. May not redo after all. This car had 2 other purchasers waiting my decision and would have sold for $16,999 after all the reconditioning.Good experience!!
