The overall Toyota warranty system consists of many smaller warranties, covering specific aspects of your vehicle. Here’s a list of the different warranties that Toyota has created for your protection:

The Basic Coverage Warranty lasts for 36 months or 36,000 miles. Additionally, the Powertrain Coverage Warranty lasts for 60 months or 60,000 miles, covering the engine, transmission/transaxle, front-wheel-drive system, rear-wheel drive, seatbelts, and airbags.

Then you have the Rust-Through Coverage Warranty, which lasts for 60 months or 60,000 miles, covering the corrosion perforation of sheet metal, and there is even an Emissions Coverage Warranty that varies from state to state. Refer to applicable Warranty & Maintenance Guide for details.

Plus, Toyota’s warranties aren’t limited to new cars. There are also special warranties for hybrid cars, certified used models, and there is even a warranty for official Toyota accessories only.

Toyota hybrid vehicles have set the standard for technology, efficiency and drivability. It only makes sense that the world’s most popular hybrids should have the warranties to match. The Hybrid Warranty applies to hybrid models and includes hybrid-related component coverage for eight years or 100,000 miles.

Every Toyota Certified Used Vehicle is put through a 160-point quality insurance inspection, with each Used Hybrid tested to a 174-point standard. So we thought the TCUV Warranty should be just as thorough. The TCUV Warranty covers you for 12 months or 12,000 miles from date of certified purchase.

Lastly, the Accessories Warranty ensures that any Toyota accessories are covered for 12 months, and specific accessories purchased and installed at the time a vehicle was purchased are covered for 36 months. Toyota Genuine Parts are built to the highest standards of quality, durability and performance.
